I may have tweaked a few things...
Update: New tires helped solve some of my issues. I'll keep playing with weight to correct any remaining issues and hang on to the Off-Road suspension for now.

    What I have:

    3rd gen TRD Off-Road parts
    Coils @ 19k miles
    F/R shocks (Bilsteins) @ 4k miles

    What I want:
3rd gen TRD Sport coils & F/R shocks (Hitachi) with less than 5k miles

I'm looking for a straight trade. The TRD Off-Road suspension feels too soft with this truck on pavement. Originally I wanted to be setup for hitting dirt roads comfortably but I'm being realistic now about what this truck gets used for (daily driver). I might also be interested in 2nd gen TRD Sport parts but only if the shocks have low miles.

Sounds backwards to me. I have stock 2nd gen full suspension shit but keeping in a corner in case i trade in one day. We can swap if your interested or want pics let me know. I just need the same thing in return to be able to keep same backup setup. How them avid step sliders doing?

I love the avid steps, exactly the look I wanted over the original running boards. I like the extra weight distributed over the wheels too. Thanks again for hooking me up!

My suspension still just moves around too much for me when riding on pavement. The float makes going off pavement more comfortable but as a daily driver that isn’t seeing much dirt it’s not ideal. I’ve been playing with extra weight from sandbags to compress the coils. And last weekend I ran 4-5 loads of varying weight while helping a friend move and got some different feelings from the suspension. It just seems like getting a tighter setup would be better than adding weight.

Had a feeling my tires were playing a part in the bad ride but i’ve been too focused on suspension. Finally deciphered the mfg. date and realized they were past due so I found a good deal on Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws. Ride feels much smoother now and has less bounce. Also moved up to 265/75 so the front wheels fill the wheel well better after the 3rd gen coils lifted a little.
