I love this truck but I just acquired a snowmobile and this really does not tow too well, especially up the canyons... So I would really like a v6 tacoma, maybe a tundra or t100. would prefer manual. Let me know if you have any questions.

1987 fj60 has a 2h turbo diesel with 60,000 on a rebuild and a ton of extra gaskets and seals, h55f, 456 gears with a lock right in the rear, OME lift, shackle reverse in the front and HFS shackles in the rear and 33 inch A/Ts with about 90% tread. diesel swap and h55f was done in January and put in a new clutch and release bearing. the locker and gears was done in april along with a knuckle rebuild. The rust is a little better then average for utah. The roof/gutter line was redone this summer so no more rot up there! But the head liner was cut out. Really not that bad riding in it. It has custom Front and rear bumpers.

Thanks guys! My dad had one when I was a kid, always wanted my own. Its a beast, not many places it can't go. It can't go anywhere fast but it can go anywhere! I have been averaging 18mpgs. The 6cyl diesel is a super smother engine as well. My dads had the 4cyl and that would shake your teeth out.

My buddy Steve did the swap. He had the truck for about 4 years I think. Did the swap last winter. The only thing I had to clean up was the alternator/regulator wiring.

Would also consider trade for a T100, Tundra, or 2500 dodge cummins(only manuals).

All the canyon roads here are pretty steep and long and I don't know about towing a trailer and a sled. I would be worried about the EGTs
