Oops. WTB: So, I know a ton of people around here get custom headlights, HID, projectors, or just fancy 3rd party designs and such.

I want to buy your stock headlights once you take them out. I mean, I'll take some black or smoked headlights too, but whatever works.

One of mine is leaking and has tons of moisture built-up. Only time until it blows. Both are burnt, melted. So message me with what you have.
    Thanks

Which one is leaking with moisture?
Sorry had to look, I have an OEM passenger hl that's pretty washed out, very hazy.
My drivers side is a stock replacement one from when my truck was repaired do to someone crashing into me. It's pretty clear, maybe 20k miles of use, no scratches to my knowledge. I'll grab pictures tomorrow, I have work at 3:30am. Plus I'm local so we could meet.

    OEM everything, almost.
I have a set that isn't hazy, but has imperfections and the passenger side has a couple broken tabs that can be repaired.
The DRL (daytime running lights) have stained the lens.
Let me know if you're interested. Feel free to PM.

Well my daytime running lights burnt n melted both inside too, so that's a thing too.

But yes, it's my passenger side headlight. 80k miles and it's ruined, hazy, burnt inside and leaking. Pretty ridiculous. Yes @PapaBear please send photos.

Yours have moisture inside too? Or just the Burns.

Toyota did an optional recall for the lights but we missed it. It expired. It was a bulletin, not a full recall. Total BS.

Burns, cracks and foggy but dry. The truck is new to me this past December. It's an '11 with <90K on it, I'm the fourth owner. Carfax has it living in Ohio, Michigan and Colorado before ending up here. The frame is so clean it either spent most of it's life in Colorado or it's been replaced already. I've been busy trying to track down and correct what the previous owners did to it. I'm about to hit 90K so I'm going to do a LOT of service items to it because I have no idea if/how it was neglected. It's no show truck, has a couple bumps and scratches but the price was right and I'm happy with it. I'm definitely not afraid to take it into the woods. I just can't justify $600+ on a set of retro fits on this truck.

My '11 had issues with melting / burn marks around the DRL. Bitched to the service manager a few times because the bulbs kept burning out or falling out because the socket was so loose from the heat. They wanted $50 to install a $2 bulb which I declined but eventually they wound up replacing both headlights on some TSB

The headlight TSB free headlight deal expired a long time ago.

You may be right but usually is at the service manager's discretion. Mine got done about a year ago.

I found them... On sale too for freaking $99. I might pull that trigger. A TW retro-fit maker recommended these. Said they're great for the price. He adds projectors and re-seals them, but said he's never had a pair leak.

Not to revive a WTT with a question.... But.

I got new blacked out headlights. should I use new bulbs for the daytime running lights because these ones burnt my last headlights. Or should I just reuse the bulbs cuz they still work?
