I bought this camper shell shortly after buying my truck. Rear brake lights work, sliding side windows with screens function perfectly, working locks with key. I've decided that a softopper would fit my needs better and I like the look of the softopper better as well. I'm open to either a softopper or bestop, although a softopper is preferred.
The camper shell is silver but is plastidipped black, fits the second gen double cab short bed. All that is needed would be new weather stripping to ensure a water tight seal once installed.
The truck is currently in Portland Oregon and will be until December 17th at which point I will be driving to Utah and can meet up anywhere along the way. Heading back up to Portland in January. I'm in Hawaii for another 4 weeks, flying back to Portland on December 11th.
I've only been able to find a small screen shot of a video I took that shows the original silver color under the plastidip.

That would be a little too far out of my way for the timeframe I have allotted for the drive.
