Looking for a cheap toyota 4x4 for offroad use. priced near 5K+roughly 14K in cash. I am looking to sell outright for 18.9K. For those that do not know, all hard tops are 6speed manuals.

price is very fair for the car that it is....just no one had that kind of cash sitting around. looking to make it easier by trading an off-road rig+less cash.

    info:$18,900 outright

NADA price on this car is $20,000.
    Edmunds retail price is $18,000.
    KBB retail price is $16,000
Plus, I have $4000 worth of headers and wheels on the car.

Here is a dealer selling the same exact car, 1 year newer, for $25,000,

I am asking an average of all 3 values + 25% of the money for the mods.

It's extremely clean in and out. No accidents and no flaws in the paint. I bought it March of 2008 from California. I am now selling because I have other priorities and NO time to drive the car. I bought a bike which I ride more than I drive the car now too. The car is too nice to rot away in my garage and not be enjoyed. I work construction so the only time I get to drive it is on the weekends, and now I am working every weekend...so, I figure someone else would probably enjoy it more than me at this point :ack:

Only mods are FLP Long tube headers that come with interchangeable CATs or ORPs. I have hptuned for !cats, !air, and !cags. I also swapped the original wagon wheels for some slick looking black motorsport wheels. The previous owner also put on some fancy viper alarm as well.

Other than that, the car is stock. I came from a 10 second drag car and just wanted a stock car that I could get in and not worry about- this is it! It sounds great with the headers/stock catback- not too loud but you can really hear the rumble over stock. I get compliments whenever I am in it and often hear the phrase: I have never seen another vette like that. People ask if it's a custom color and I find them drooling over it when I park it at the store. It's a trouble-free car and looks awesome, there's not much else to say about it!

I drove it home from Cali, and have no problem delivering it to the new buyer. I can either trailer it or drive it (for gas money and a hotel/plane ticket).

Here are some exterior pictures, If someone is serious I will take as many pictures as they want of whatever they want.

Nice car!! I love the color!!

Good luck with the sale. Try www.cars.com or www.autotrader.com also.
    They both get good traffic.

If you don't have any luck this fall - try again in the spring time. People will really be shopping for vettes come in the spring.

I have a vette too and the gas mileage is surprisingly pleasant. Too bad you're far away.

I also have one. Mine is a 97 coupe. It is Nassau Blue. I think that is the same color his is.

They are nice and fun to drive. I was thinking about selling mine but changed my mind. In 10 years it will still be worth some $$$. Probably what I paid for it.

I doubt if my Tacoma will be worth what I paid for it then.

Nice Vette! I had a similar color Vette but more of a green tint. I loved it but had to sell it when the kids came along! Good luck with the sale!

    vette is in corvette forums.

here are some other FRCs for sale from there from the past couple of days:

$17,000 1999, black, 45K miles, minor appearance mods

$18,900 1999. white, 35K miles, few appearance mods- also as rare as nassau blue

$16,500 1999, pewter, 61K miles, major engine mods

    $16,900 1999, black, 70K miles, decent mods

    $17,000 1999, red, 98K miles/motor rebuild,

$19,500 1999, nassau blue, minor mods - COUPE, not even an FRC or a manual.

higher mileage, obviously drops the price. 2 most sought after colors are nassau blue and white because they were the least produced. i believe the next colors in order of popularity are black, red, silver, pewter. If you take into account my mileage and the headers (30-50% of mods usually), and color, I dont think the price is out of line.
