Just curious... why you wanting to trade?

 

I am going for a "blacked out" look, the pro tails were really the only other option that looked decent. Now that the new trucks have the black instead of chrome in the taillight, I prefer those.

I'm new to all this trading and swapping parts, how many different stock tail lights are there for 3rd gen? Some fancier than others?

 

LOL at the people offering to straight trade. Your Off-Road taillights are worth less than the TRD Pro. You'll find someone to take the deal of TRD Pro + $150.

I didn't realize the 2017 Off-Road tails were different than the 2018+

 

If I wanted to just buy a set then I would. A set of depos is what, 180-200? A straight trade benefits both parties without costing a thing. Stop being so greedy.

 

The TRD Pro tails tend to sell for more than the off road taillights. That was my only point.

 

Whats the difference between pro and off road? Damm so much to learn.

 

Pro owners seem to be getting the shaft with all this equipment that now comes stock on other models.
Colors and other cosmetics should have only been available stock on pros. Shame.

 

There is:
SR5:red lens with a chrome interior
TRD(pre 18’): red with a smoked chrome interior
Limited: Clear lens with smoked chrome interior
PRO: clear lens with blacked out interior
TRD (18+) red lens with blacked out interior.

THEY ALL light up the same. Literally zero performance differences, it is all cosmetic.

 

You left off the best of all...the ultra rare MESOJDM modded taillights that perform better than OEM and look a lot cooler. Lucky to have a set!
