Looking to trade my non-scooped Pyrite Mica hood for a TRD Sport Pyrite hood. Located in VA and willing to travel if I can find this unicorn. Thanks

Not really, might be able to meet half way.

I'm not really looking to get rid of the hood. But would entertain offers. You never know.. I might just be crazy enough to do it for the right deal.

How much cash do you think he's going to add to warrant a 4-6 hour drive?

I'm not too familiar with the quality controls, but there seems to be a few different vendors offering oem hoods online for a few hundred bucks shipped and color matched.

    Why not just buy one

There is no such vendor like that exists. Trust me I search far and near and the least expensive hood scoop I found was on eBay for $200 bucks and some change that is primed. Doesn't include the hood scoop insert so that's another $130. Now you need to get it painted to match your Taco so depending who you know you might get the paint job for $200 to $500. Add that together and that's a rough estimate how much a hood scoop cost.

Okay well that's what I was referring to, I suppose vendors wasn't a good term for it.

I thought that was pretty reasonable really.. few hundreded bucks for a brand new hood. If your patient and resourceful I'm sure you can scavenge up a better way to get everything. As your doing on here I pressume.

Thanks brother. Funny you say that, you're the only person I've seen with a Pyrite scooped hood looking to trade yet over 2000 miles away...
