WTT: REAR BUMPER

Mornin'.

I've been wanting to trade my undamaged chrome rear bumper with an undamaged base BLACK rear bumper. Mine is a 2013, so while I'm not opposed to trading with someone who has a 2005, condition of bumper must be equal to my own. No dents, no scratches, no scuffs.

Located in Santa Rosa, CA but travel throughout Sonoma/Marin/Napa/Solano/San Francisco/Santa Clara counties.

HIT ME UP. Not sure if the normal trade for a chrome bumper is the base black bumper + cash, and don't care to research that. I'm not looking for that arrangement, just a straight trade.



Don't mind the water spots, truck needs a wash and the bumper just needs a cleaning.

I have a powdercoated black bump with some scratches and little dents that could probably be pulled out you can HAVE for FREE. I replaced with a new chrome a while back and the used black one is just taking up space in my garage lol

I know not a trade, but another option is to buy the bumper shell for around 130 bucks off of somewhere like summit or carid and then you can just put it on. I installed it in about an hour.

Yes, its just the metal part. You transfer the plastic step part from your old bumper to the new one.

 

Sounds pricey lol. Those bumpers weight a good 30+ lbs, shipping would suck for that lol. I think his best bet is just painting it himself. Totally not hard at all to do

 

I got mine shipped to me in Puerto Rico from CarID for less than 100 bucks. Shipping in the states would be significantly cheaper.

Scuff and spray bedliner seems to be the lowest price option and likely what I'll end up doing. My bumper is in great shape so it's probably the easiest and cheapest option.

 

Now, who has some spare time to trade?

 

Hahah If you were closer I'd say swing on by. I'm always down to help out, just have to keep a little quieter these days when the kid is asleep

 

Mine is due in 6.5 weeks.. but every weekend between now and then is likely going to be getting the house painting finished, baseboard finished, etc,.

 

Haha yea, make sure you get that stuff out of the way. Once the newborn is in the house, no more painting, dusty stuff, anything that might make the baby sniffle...or move while hes asleep, or not be asleep, or sneeze...

 

Trying to finish everything and have 2 weeks until the due date for everything to settle and be clean, fumes to leave, etc,. Been working on this condo since December.
