    I know this is a long shot. I have factory silver nerf bars on my 08 access cab and want black ones. I recently have gotten black wheels and the silver is just getting to me. I live in SoCal, specifically San Diego.

    My next plan of action would be to sell mine and just buy some black ones.
    I didn't want to paint in fear of eventual flaking.
