swapping coils is easy. You don't have a coil compressor handy or know anyone that has one?

 

I tried compressing far enough to kick the bottom plate out but couldnt roll it out. I dont have a compressor and they said if they are scratched or damaged they wouldnt take them back.

 

Bummer.

I have some Eibach 18'' 700lb coils in my shop at home but im not sure what size of shock you have for a baby LT kit. So not sure id recommend them.

 

It was sunny then cloudy then rainy then snowed this morning then hailed then rained then sunny now windy and rainy. March is such a tease :/

I have been considering one of those even tho mine is still in good shape atm. FWIW, it isn't just for 2nd gens. It will fit on our DS too.

I got mine in the mail today. I ordered it before I saw the group buy... It's a nice solid unit, excited to get it in.

 

still wanting to see some one with more than a few miles on it before joining up and getting one.

 

Gonna be a bit before I get it on as my stock one is doing alright for now.

 

Mine was junk a while back and now has a chirp under light load. I actually ordered 2. I have started ordering extra parts to stock. Replace it once, might have to again theory. There is another thread where a couple guys have ran them for quite some time with good results.

 

The local desert guys have been running them for years, including in a couple race trucks. They're not new or novel. I've been meaning to order one for the last year and change. Just never got around to to it as I have too many parts on the shelf and I've had bigger ($$$) maintenance items to deal with. It's a no brainer for the GB price.

 

well im only at 34k miles any how. So i have some time to wear mine out

 

Still totally on the fence about wanting to live in jackson hole or denver after the summer. Really liking jackson for the sheer fuck it factor and getting to live at arguably the best skiing and biking in the lower 48

 

There has to be better biking elsewhere man. And skiing. Sure its great but so much private land..

and jackson is fucking expensive!

But it is cool.

 

For real Tho. Jackson/the Tetons has the best in bounds terrain, gnarliest back country, Pretty safe snow pack (compared to co)...and im sure the biking is so far above my level it Doesent matter. I know it's expensive. But I figure if im looking for the best in outdoor location j hole is pretty good

 

How's the job market there for you?

 

Serious housing issues in Jackson @IDtrucks you probably know that but its a very expensive place to live.
