Yeah, I never go there unless I am trying to get out of the weather. I do walk by it pretty often.

 

Went and picked mine up this evening, she said your guys would be on its way in the next couple days. Their screw up actually worked out pretty well, saved me a trip to lander right now. I'll have to get Marc his arms another time, but this way I can wait till it's warmer and make a weekend out of it.

Now I just need to decide what project to start first, I also have a motor sitting on the stand that ready to be put in the cruiser.

 

Dang! I was gonna grease your handles cuz you don't know me yet, and I woulda got away with it. HAHA! My kid said he saw a WRC car running around and I told him, he was blind! Maybe that was it, but I'm not telling him now cuz I'd look like a moron dad!

 

Yea it was really wierd to see it on the street, looked out of place.

I thought about tracking it down since I've got my good camera with me. If you see it in town tonight PM me! My phone camera is broke...

You guys know anything about 94R group batteries? I picked up a pair of 2nds today.

13x7x7... I have been reading that it should be a 800-1000 cca battery. Damn thing weighs 49lbs... I scored these bad boys for $60 each from one of my dealers.

 

That's pretty good. I think my group 34 diehard is 1250cca and 205 reserve minutes.

 

Yea my yellow top is 820cca...what's so great about them?

 

The fact that they were only 60 bucks and they get pallets of them at a time.

 

What are you going to use if for? Probably insanely heavy. Looks just like a lead acid type

 

We use them to run demo derby cars. Running 2 batteries with no alternator.

 

What's more of a rush, derby driving or lemons driving?

 

Lemons is constant adrenaline for 12hrs first day and 8hrs second. Derby is more concentrated and elevated levels. Half the battle is trying to fix your car between heats. But same can be said for lemons.

 

No way. You have a group 35 don't you. Optima refers to it as a D35. Its 620 CCA @ 0*F. 98 minutes reserve capacity. Weighs 36#. One of the reasons I went away from YT. My Northstar 24F has 840 CCA with 160 reserve at 60#

That looks a lot like a Diahard Gold, without the labels of course. If so you got a great deal as Seaars is asking $175 each. They are rated at 765 CCA with a reserve of 140 minutes.
