Messaged him about it but he's unsure of the gearing. He said it was in a v6 automatic just like my truck. I believe 4.56 was another option for that configuration so I guess it wouldn't be worth buying without knowing for sure. Any insight?

    I don't think any v6 auto came with 4.56. 4 bangers did.

Ask him to open the drain plug and Mark on of the teeth then to count the, that'll tell you the ring gear. 456 is pretty rare

If it's 4.56 I may want it haha

Or if he still has the truck just look at the axle code.

Dude brett. That brake pedal from the parts truck won't work with your current booster in the double cab. It'll work with the booster I took. Different shaft lengths and pin sizes.

Also just realized I bought the wrong brake lines for then fucking calipers...ugh

Even if I'm just changing the pedal and not whole assembly? I guess if need be I will just cut the foot part of the pedal in half and shape it to fit the rubber pad

No not that part. The action is totally different. The pedal is the same but the actual mechanical part is very different. Looking at Frank vs Igor anyways. And the two boosters.

You need the pedal mechanics then to make it work? I don't need that part

Any of you locals gone from 5100s/OME to more performance based coilovers like Fox, Icon, or King?
Every time we take the the Tacoma out I am more impressed and glad we made the switch from the Jeep. We were able to make it down to the house in CO and run a couple trails this weekend. A decent portion of these trails was similar to the trip up to Cyclone pass, which after a while can get tiresome at least that what my wife tells me. Although this ride is much better than our Jeep was it got me thinking that I should have spent the money on better coilovers. I'm hoping for some first hand experience on the noticeable gains in ride quality and perfromance with a quality set. Is it mutually exclusive as far as valving for higher speed use vs. lower speed ride? Thanks for any insight, just trying to weigh some options.

Yes. Hell yes. Makes a big difference.

Best riding out of the box coilovers I've riden in where ads ones. My dads truck rides like butter.

I like my kings but love my ads stuff.

    Well worth it imo.
