I have no need for that huge file. Will never use 90% of it. I just downloaded the states I will drive in, including bc and ab. Super easy to switcht hem out on the fly.

 

Eh. I didn't mind. But I have a dedicated phone for it.

 

Anyone in Laramie have actual Toyota lug nuts for a second gen laying around?

 

I may have the old ones off the FJ, I can't remember, but look me up tomorrow and I'll look.

Igors brakes work. Finally. Not what I was hoping for in terms of pedal feel. But it's about the same as it was. Gonna go for a drive soon to see if my pinch weld mod was enough. Straightened out the bumper today too.

 

Sheesh. Tundra brakes..so far, not worth it. My pedal is too soft. I've bleed everything four times and it still goes to the floor before it stops.

 

didnt you swap the mc and more?

thought ppl normally had better results

 

I swapped in a bigger master cylinder and booster. My brakes suck ass compared to how they where. Don't start working till the pedal is half way down or more.

Feel hard as a rock when the truck is off too

 

Maybe a dumb question but did you start bleeding at the farthest brake from the cylinder and work it closer?

 

Did you properly bench bleed the master before installing?

Yes. Did both methods. And tried a vacuum bleeder.

Yep. Even tested it by putting it on the booster. Starting the car and feeling the pedal. No lines where attached. Just bolts in the holes. Felt solid as a rock.

OEM pads a rotors work the best.

 

My Tundra brakes are awesome. Something's wrong Monte. Why does this sound so much like your supercharger install?

Ben: I went through 2 sets of EBC green stuff pads on stock calipers. Braking performance was greatly improved, but life was terrible. I got like 10K miles out of each set.

 

Idk. I hate how nothing I do to these truck anymore works. Ever.

 

I figured out why I had lost sound from the passenger side front channel on the stereo. Found a broken solder connection inside the door. Whew!! I am very glad it wasn't a blown channel on the amp or in the head unit.

Probably just a cold joint and the vibrations got to it. Might mean all of them are suspect.
