The Commisary on base is closing as of 1900L tonight and won't reopen until funding is approved and a large majority of civilian employees have been furloughed.

    Gage I thought my rack was just right after shoshone. it's 13" from the bedrail to the top of the tubes that the tent sits on. I can still fit in my garage too. It's tall enough to kind of still stand under the tent when open and it's not too tippy.

    Id roll with that. think its a good height really. will still notice it but not near as bad as your current setup but you still have access to the bed.


    yea I like your height.

    Mine is about 14'' I think.

    12.5-13.5 I think is best.

    my next one will be 10-12 probably.
