Lol actually I think hunter is going to buy it. It was $700.

The heater core was leaking antifreeze in the cab so we pulled the good one out of the parts truck and swapped them. It's got some frame rust in the back witch prevents it from being built so we may attempt a half frame swap from the parts truck. Idk it's up in the air really. But it's in nice shape for the money. Nothing fancy, good beat around truck for him so I can my money back out of the purple haze. Didn't realize those 4 cylinders have that kind of get up and go.

They do with a 5speed and a tiny ass single cab truck haha

    Nice buy for sure.

Frame swap would..suck. But not impossible.

Frame is good most of the way. About at the front shackle of the rear leafs and back it looks sketchy in spots. I think just Pulling the bed and cutting it behind the cab would work if we decide it's worth it. Going to pull it tomorrow to pressure wash it and see what's left after the flakes fall off

Dig the single cab look with a moonroof. Be fun to find one in better shape to sink some cash into later on down the road

I see why they stopped putting the V6 in the reg cab. It really feels just like the extended cabs with the V6. I'm sure once I take it up some hills I may have a different opinion but just driving home I couldn't feel much difference.

I know they made them through 97. Actually think I saw one today here parked. Its an LX where this one I just got is an SX. Maybe its just interior options but the parts truck is an LX and it has the V6

It's the bed rack. Why I made mine with a bar across the from. To keep that from happening.

It's fairly common actually with bed racks.

The packages where odd from 95-97. LX I think is power windows and doors and such. Not sure it meant a v6 honestly..Frank was an Lx.

I don't notice the rear separating, but I guess I never looked. Mine up front is split maybe 1/4 of the way down on both sides. I think it's from the rack and tieing 2 dirt bikes to it. A lot of weight swaying back and forth on those joints.

That makes the most sense to me. I've never really looked into toyotas packages and their markings. I'll do some googling and see if there are any threads about it floating around

My bed hasn't cracked yet, but I do have small dent-like indentions on the bedsides from what I can only assume is them buckling from the weight.
