I've done a mod or two
Buy a panel puller, I haven't broken a door clip since I got it.

Yea what I have. Was successful!

Except I broke the retainer clip on the interior door handle ha. Think the parts store sells those though.

Was a good weekend. Just need to bleed the brakes tomorrow.

I got a 250 lumen light at the rei garage sale...originally 50 for 20...glad I didn't pay more than 20...it's handy for normal things around the house or weekend camping...but I took it skiing and it was worthless. I need something at a minimum 750, or 1000 to actually be functionable for what I'd do with it

@m3bassman How is Boise? Is housing pretty reasonable?

Good to hear, I'll be interviewing for a position out there and applying for a BLM ranger position there as well. Looks like a cool place but wasn't sure if cost of living has sky rocketed like some of the other larger cities I have looked at. I don't trust online "cost of living" calculators too much. Looked like you could rent 2 bedroom houses, pet friendly, with a yard for under $1000.

BLM ranger. Nice. Thought you had to have law enforcement experience though for that one.

Nope, a degree or 3 years work experience similar to the job (for entry positions). So I probably could have applied out of the military. This is a recent grad job so not sure how it will all work out. At some point I would have to do an 18 week course but not sure if I would do that after the year of training or before I started it.

Ash will be a certified ESA dog so any place is an option for me. If I get one of these positions I will for sure be in contact. Always help to have someone in the area to help ease the process of moving. Tacomaworld has been awesome for that. I have a contact in all of the places I have applied for so far (with the exception of Juneau, AK).

    I can't believe that's considered a 3 car garage.

Garages arent what they used to be. 3 car garage now is like a normal 2 car 15 years ago.

Dis. I have tried other forums and TW is still the best one hands down. I compare all others to it and always am disappointed.

Well shoot. USAJOBs screwed me on one Idaho position I was looking forward to.

When you apply for these federal jobs it requires you to select documents to upload. For me, this includes the documents for veterans preference and my unofficial college transcripts. Well, they "upload" the documents but did not replace my old documents. So they were seeing transcripts from 2014 which disqualified me for the position.

Luckily I caught it before the ranger position closed. While they couldn't do anything about this position, the HR rep did inform me that there will be a ton of positions in my field posted within the next week.

Damn. That sucks. But sounds like you'll have plenty of options.

Yep, o well. Maybe a fish position will be posted in the next week there. Have you had any experience with Pocatello?

Gotcha, curious about the area around it. With it only 6 hours from Laramie it would be much easier to visit and/or have Lizzy come out.

When did you offer that? Thanks but no thanks. Plenty of temp jobs I can get that are $15-17 that would give 8 months of work and plenty of time to find a permanent position. I would just prefer to leave college with a permanent position in a location that I could potentially get my dream job within a year.
