Ya he has bolt holes for the oem rack under the weather stripping. Ideally we don't want it to leak lol

 

Silicone solves that problem, at least that is what my neighbor did when he built his roof rack. Feel weird to talk about truck stuff on this thread, I thought this was for work chat.

on that note..some of my wheels are in SLC. Finally. Gonna get the on next Friday

Never had the option. I would have chosen the blem set though. Got 3 of 5 now, another showed up today

Those are really great looking wheels, if my rigs wasn't a beater I'd have to have a set for sure.

 

Oh. I did. He let me choose last minute since I guess a ton were blems. Not worried though.

Exactly, that's why I'll keep thrashing my f5s. They're cheaper to replace for when I inevitably break a bead

 

I meant where the bead seats, aluminum rims barely ever bend, they just crack and split. I've had big sharp rocks in between the rim and tire a few times where I thought that may happen. The crunching sound is very grating

 

Sure they could. Your can't run super low pressures because of the small tires you run. Just going to take one nice pot hole at 30-50mph on the dirt to destroy one haha

Nah. Meant to be used. Like a Ferrari that never gets driven.

 

All the rock rash on mine make them lighter
