    Wonder what mine is.

Im a little skeptical about this measurement..at that that like 1w an led or so.

You'd notice if they where that low.

I feel vindicated! I knew those ratings were utter garbage... I wonder how a Ridgid one stacks up, costs enough to have a good driver assembly and LED chips one would think.

I know they are garbage, but that seems a bit TOO low.

I would think it would be around 80-100w.

Well it is possible Ben had the meter set improperly. But that seems about right for typical Chinese inflation.

that said wattage aside, all about opics anyways. My hellas where only 55w HIDs. but they blew everything out of the water ive ever seen for light output and distance. Cheap too.

Sounds right to me, they only use 18-20 gauge wiring anyway.

It is a BRZ, and an FRS... same car but they killed off the Scion name so the FRS is gone

Also it got a new manual transmission with an additional gear.

    Needs a turbo.

    Then it would be perfect.

Really though, but it's got a Toyota brain so it would no doubt be a nightmare to turbo.

:notsure: No idea honestly. I mean, plenty of toyota motors turbo just fine.

i know there are lots of boost kits for the 86 platform. Never looked at them though.

for real. Just a little guy. More of a noise maker then a serious power booster haha like N/A could be the 200hp and turbo could be 250hp. Just enough to give you all the fun turbo nosies and turbo kick when boost hits.

    Be a hoot haha

The motors take boost well but the ECUs never seem to be designed to understand it at all unless it was factory turbo'd. 50HP would make all the difference in that car though being so light (any more and the drivetrain would need beefing), especially if it was a factory turbo, then there would be a clear path to real power.

IDK. Still a boxer engine. Not the most reliable boosted motor know to man..I wouldn't go crazy with it.

Yeah I'm not a fan of boxers either, there's really no point, but just like the rotary it's a symbol and it has a uniqueness to it and whatnot. I've worked on a few Subies, they like to start burning oil early on in life and if your unlucky like my buddy Chris, it blows a HG and drops a valve. I would like an FRS (or 86) when they become cheap to hoon around and boost until it dies. I figure they'll be like Miatas and command a high price until the ricers and drifters drive the price to rock bottom.

Yea you can find them for good prices. Low as 15k i think now. Aren't holding their value overly great but not bad. They are fun cars. Ben's is a hoot to drive.

But i require turbo for a car to be ultimately fun :D i love turbo....haha

Boxers are yea...touchy. Not high mileage motors anyways. Josh's WRX is still fun though.

Im sure there are wilwood options now or stoptech or something. Thats easy to fix.
