I've done a mod or two
It doesn't. Even the best of them will clog your heater core and coat your engine block. Look up how they work and you'll see why they do more harm than good. Magic doesn't come in a bottle and if it did it certainly wouldn't exist just to fix head gaskets.

Lol well put. Came across it last night in Walmart when I was buying coolant. Never heard of it either, but with today's technology I figured maybe it's possible?? I don't mind fixing it proper was just curious if it would temporarily get me by so I didn't have to take the time to fix it now.

If the frame is in good shape, snap up that bitch. Very, very good price.

edit: Not sure its a 4x4. Since it doesn't say it, it probably isn't. Not worth it if its isn't 4x4.

That one is definitly nice, maybe a bit more than I need to spend for a spare vehicle. That's only 2k less than I payed for mine.

I too would love a double cab first gen, but they seem to bring crazy money or at least more than I think I'd want to pay.

He is asking NADA value most likely. KBB is more in the 9k range. Also why it's still for sale. Been listed for awhile.

They are super hard to find. People ask a lot for them. I paid 13.5k for mine with 149k on it.

But i don't regret it. Love it.

You guys know any info on going backwards for headlights. I hate the 98-2000 front grill. My parts truck has the side lights and headlights just need the grill which looks cheap online $50. Will the wiring harness support that?

You need the headlight buckets for holding the 5x7 sealed beams too, talk to @Madjik_Man. He did a conversion like that

    You mean a grill swap?

    More complex then you think.

The hood and fenders are different for all the sub generations too. Granted you have all those parts. I helped do a 95-97 swap to a 98 tacoma. Was a PITA. Though i think the 98 fenders and hood still work with a 95-97

Looking back, the best way would be buying a whole new core support and drilling out the tac welds and swapping it over with bolts. The head light buckets are different so you'll end up cutting the shit out of the core support anyways and having to make mounts.
