Honestly quick is probably better than fast for me..I'll get in trouble lol. Got a new work truck (ram 1500) and its quiet a bit quicker than my old 2500 and i catch myself speeding.

I know of a decent twisty road here in casper right by the dealership that I can try it out on.

I can't jump the gun to early but I think something would be fun down there.

This is the job I originally accepted back in January but the freeze forced it to be deemed "necessary" by the department head. Well it was approved to be exempt so I'll be moving to Cottonwood in mid may. I'll be largely working with chinook, sockey, steelhead, bull trout and pacific lamprey. This position guarantees a year of training under their top biologist and then I can be non-competitively appointed a similar position in Cottonwood or any BLM office across the US.

With every freeze we find out that this country cannot run without temporary and seasonal workers. Halting all hiring is detrimental and costly. They started with getting forest service firefighters exempt, then seasonal positions so Yellowstone and other NP's didn't shut down. I am guessing BLM and FWS followed a similar route to get their seasonals. I fall under a different program than temp/seasonal so who knows how my position was cleared.

My next battle will be attrition. Finding employment while the government is downsizing may be difficult but I'll have the skills for consulting work after this job and may be ready for my masters by then.

Morning guys. I was curious if anyone around the Sheridan area has an extra front driver side mud flap laying around for a second gen tacoma? If so, how much would it cost to part with? Thanks everyone.

Not by Sheridan, I'm in rapid, but I'll check and see if I still have mine or not.

He had a 280 back in the day. it was his "sports car" so he always says its the best to get.

Lol this is true. But its a big plus when i can start driving it in early spring with awd and enjoy it more of the year.

So was going to take a drive to Sheridan today just to bum around the town but may not be making it now..Guess its off to the shooting range if the wind dies down or the chili cook off.

No one that I can think of. I'll check with Ty and see if he still has his mud flaps.

I've had the same experience. I'd rather not associate with the common "import" community. Granted there are some cool people I've met along the way.

Maybe it's just a matter of getting to know people on a more personal level. But at a glance its a very douchey scene.
