Well like i said if you have any questions feel free to ask or PM and I will help out with what I remember lol. Keep in touch and can reach out when its time for internships. I can always see if we are hiring, obviously things are slow now but hopefully it keeps picking up.

No where yet...Im living in a hotel for the time being my company is comping until I find a place. Any recommendations are more than welcome.

While at our other facility down here its closer to the mountains and its a a pretty area and drive towards them.

 

I only really know the south end Centennial, Tech Center, Cherry Creek, Littleton all good neighborhoods and I like it because I know where everything is. Actually living there would probably be more of a matter where I could commute so that I didn't have to get on I25 or 470.

 

Yea I have only really been to Thorton and Denver itself and passed through a few areas but figure I will just drive through the areas and back to the office to see how each is.

 

Im hoping in the next year they get rid of our downtown office and put all 4 of us in there into the training center up north of denver. Its in a really nice area and awesome mountain views.

 

No lol, so are 4-5 of us in the downtown area. 2 salesmen who half the time arent there and a higher up who is really never there. So mostly will be just two of us engineers.

Then there are 2 trainers in the northern facility and 4 frac science guys. But like 10 empty offices there.

 

I think we could teach this class.

 

You looking at Overland Expo? My roommate wants to go but getting to Flagstaff for a weekend is proving to be a pain. Also one of the steps in that class should be "Bitch at your friends online publicly about lifestyle choices"

 

Im always the last to leave it seems. Even when I am done with my stuff.

 

It came up in another thread but yeah, Overland Expo in Flagstaff this coming May.

I'mm sure many of those classes offer a lot of very good information, but I think all the structure and formalities and egos would drive me crazy.

I couldn't go either. Im sure it is cool but be kinda odd too. Seeing as to how...sadly.."mainstream" for lack of a better word, overland has gotten.

 

You can't really blame guys for wanting to be part of this expo thang. We know it sure is a hell of a lot of fun. But I think talking about being expo and purchasing items traditionally considered expo things sometimes overshadows and interferes with actually doing expo things. To me that is the sad part.

 

yea i guess that is what i mean by mainstream.

People feel like they need to buy all this Expo shit...but..you don't.

I kinda wanted that to be a tone of our last trip since Igor is pretty bare bones. But did everything fine. Hoping that'll inspire some to realize they just need to go out and do it and don't need a fully armored rig with OBA/OBW/RTT and LEDs everywhere with 35s and lockers.

All that stuff is great as we know, but you don't NEED it.

I agree, is kind of sad. I get tons of younger guys(lol funny for me to say that) that want their rig like Frank...and I just keep thinking..man when i was in high school, Grant and I just took the truck to the hills and did stuff. We didn't even have hardly a tool kit. And it was so fun to drive a stock truck..

Oh well i guess.

 

Ha! Igor is not bare bones. Only missing some armor and lockers really.
