That's pretty much true, people just used to die and the others on the wagon train just accepted it as a fact of life...guess I'm missing the bigger point.

No way, that will be in my wheel house and exciting a fun.

Loading in a full stage set, having 50 light fixtures and programing a lighting console, setting a stage, working around all the broken shit missing shit and stupid shit...not fun.

    Aggravating.

Im just leaving the office now.

    sorry...stage.

I'll take a 150ch console with insanely high pressure over this shit anyday. That is my wheel house.

    ha.

    never said music.

    and you have no idea..

ahhh 18s..i remember those. Even 12s where normal for a long time.

This is different. Never have i had to run around 100% GO GO GO for so long. going on my 3rd straight day of it...3 more to go..then one off..then 4 more of it.

I wish i had a 2nd guy or real stage crew..

My longest stretches was 42 hours when we were doing installs on rigs with cat naps inbetween downtimes of the rig.

I miss it, but at the same time not at all lol.

I take back my snide remark if in fact you had to load in that whole stage by yourself and even more so if the entire stage show is not automated DMX.

My long days have slowed since the oil dropped. Time seems to turn into a black hole the closer you get to the rigs.

No i scrambled and got people to help. But that was an endevor on its own.

Lighting is mostly DMX LED. But while it is awesome..it takes a LONG time to wire up. And program and address. Did that all yesterday and partly today.

    :itllbuffout:

@SconnieHailer Thank you so much for the stickers. They are perfect i love them.

I can't remember you PP. What is it?

Yep :) nice a small ones, be little detail on the trucks for the people with a keen eye.

well..not that small. 2.5''. But not big. 2'' i think would be more small detail size.

Programming the light and audio for a new venue can definitely be a PITA, hope at least your boards are programmable for automation and that you're not having to change venues everyday.

    haha thats awesome

Side note didn't even get in the new office today. So worked at the training center north of town.

I think i have looked at like 200 rentals online...narrowed to like 50...

I think its even harder to choose from multiple choices rather then only a few. Guess I know what I'll be doing all weekend.

I miss this kind of work, never established myself at college for it. But in High School and occasionally during summers it was tons of fun.

Yea I like em. Stoked to add them.

They are though the audio console is out of date.

Light board is great. What suck so when a show comes in and changes half or more of everything. Then it sucks no matter what.
