It's a sweet gig for 6 months. Tracking/trapping wolves and grizzlies. Then fish monitoring/surveys and looking for genetically pure populations in high mountain lakes. If they offer it I am taking it and not looking back.

Yeah, maybe a bit more. They have winter positions too but they aren't sure what will be funded with the new administration. By time the job ends hopefully Trump has managed to get clear guidelines (wishful thinking) in place for how the gov will proceed.

 

If I get the gig then maybe I can talk them into a "volunteer photographer" .

Its..different..but quick and fun.

Dis...at 10mph it as in 2nd and then cruising up to 50 it jumped up to 7th.. so its all about staying in that powerband if needed.

It's a '17, my wife got it about a month ago. It's only got the 3.3 with the six speed, but it's nice enough. Wish she'd had the patience to let the raptors come down to where they weren't going for 10 grand over sticker though.

Something to do with getting the most out of all 425 ponies. They're using the same power plant, transmission combo in the new gt 40, but it will be tuned to deliver over 700 hp. Not too bad for a turboed v6.

 

Its impressive, i hate to admit it lol.

Side note there is a rental down in Colorado springs that is nice. It would be a 1 hr commute just to get to work..but its really close to pikes peak and i have always wanted to watch the races there.
