It would be awesome to have a garage floor that clean, I wouldn't bother with a creeper.

Currently debating doing a "screw it" spring break trip and heading into Idaho/Utah for some fishing or tearing apart BabyT and finally installing all the parts I have collected over the past year and repainting the armor. Won't have time to do both, but may be able to do a little of each.

Can do parts on the weekends.

Nah, truck runs fine other than some start ups. If it dies, it dies.

I guess it depends on where you're going to go fishing, Flaming Gorge is the one place I can think of that might me decent this time of year. With the way this year has gone, fly fishing in the Tetons, winds and bighorns has been shot in the ass until the 3rd week of July at this point:angrygirl:

One of my dreams is to have a giant immaculately clean shop. The kind of place I'd rather spend all my time than with my family...kidding, or joking, or talking out loud...whatever

Just driving that way. I have some buddies fishing for steelhead in west idaho I may catch up with. My fishing trips aren't really ever about the fish. More just about getting out with the pup.

Whatever route you go, the biggest pain will be getting the old upper BJs out of the spindles. They are such a pain. Some have had success using a rentable bj press from vatozone, but I did not. Ended up removing the spindles from the truck and using a shop press to remove the them. Not trying to scare or discourage, just saying it was about the most challenging job I have done on the truck.

IMO, I do not see the point of going back to stock. Period. This means aftermarket and spending at least 400$ for LRs or as much as 650$ for uniball arms like camburg. You know which route I went. For either type, they will be fine even tho you are not using extended travel shocks.

go aftermarket at least the SPC LR ones. They are sealed, greaseable, and easy to replace when needed. Plus they will allow your alignment to go back into spec, should last longer than any Unibal and be quiet. Im actually considering them for Igor.

Like Mike said, pressing the OEM one out of the spindle is hit or miss on it being easy or not. I was lucky, but i did use a shop press to press in the slug adapter for the bolt. So can't hurt to find someone near with a 20t shop press.

SPC LR..Lightracing. I did my moms with a rented spring compressor with i think 883 or 882 coils..did fine.

But yea you could do that. the LR ones seem to have gone up in price..

So much want! Photos from our fist time going started showing up of FB memories today, going to be a long few days of withdrawals lol.
I'm even slow enough at work I could pull away whenever, but my wife might kill me if I told her I was going to Moab with less than a month till she's due!

Too true, but it is better than taking off for Moab a couple weeks AFTER the event!

One last hurraah before the baby! haha

I was thinking of going to the Maze again..doing some hiking..then to Arches..

Nothing super hard wheeling wise..there is one trail that could be fun in Arches that is a 7-8 rated but i won't do that alone. you gonna come :boink:

I'll mull it over today and tomorrow. My buddy Zach and I have talked about splitting gas and going to the Canyon Lands for a few days. If I goto Utah, that will probably be where I end up. Apparently he went last year at this time and there was an annual jeep meet up. I have considered going to Deadwood for a few nights for a poker as well and then fishing.

Might just save the cash and use the time to sew the new tipi up finally.
