Well, I officially accepted the tentative offer for the 6 month position in Lander. @SconnieHailer and @BossFoss do you guys know of any rentals out that way?

 

Well cool man! Maybe when its over the Idaho job will have opened back up?

 

Idaho job may still pull through but I probably won't know until mid april. Lander is a for sure thing so I am going to put my efforts towards it for now.

The good news is that Idaho has tons of federal jobs (lots of public land) so regardless I'll get out there soon enough. Lizzy is looking to get her phd so Lander might work out best anyways. That way I can look for a permanent position near her once she figures out what she wants to do.

Thanks! Plan right now is to leave Ash with Lizzy for the first week or so and live in the back of the truck until I find a place that works.

 

When do you get here? Also whats your budget? So when im asking I'm in the right ball park. I'm sure we can find something so your not sleeping in your truck.

 

I've got nothing off the top of my head @BabyTaco you're welcome to my shower/laundry and stuff and a few nights at my place if you need. But with Jen approaching her due date I can't guarantee anything.

If you're desperate you could rent the place where we're currently living - fingers crossed, we're close to closing on the house and SHOULD be out the first week in April. It's a 3BR house, not the nicest place, but cheap... Same guy is renting trailers on the lots behind the house.

I'll arrive May 14th and start work on the 15th. Sleeping out of the truck won't be a big deal. Pretty darn cozy, and I am guessing there is a gym there I can get a membership to for a shower. If I can find a place ahead of time that would help though!
