Yea and it was just as muddy almost. I slid down the hill to park where I did lol.

Yea it's kind of obnoxious but fun to hear the RPM it spins. I have flown half a mile easy with open space. That ridge cut my radio once today... Hit fail safe and dropped from a good 40-50' up. Broke open a battery but that's it. Put a new pack on and kept flying lol. Thing is tough!

what kind of flight time you getting?

 

6 ish min of going hard and using about 70% of capacity. I'm cool with it, carry 4 batteries and I've had enough after 4 flights.

Weird, youtube cut it to 15sec for some reason, logged back in to change it to the full 1:30.

 

i noticed that. I clicked on it and it said :15...then 1:30...then :15. Wouldn't load well either haha

Yea it's just the nature of the miniquad. 1300mah is about the break over for weight and capacity. They're also 80c batteries so they can run peaks of 130 amp discharge. Most phantom batteries are like 4700mah so there's your time difference.

 

bigger quad though..and usually going slow for useable footage.

That thing is just fast nimble and fun haha

I may be a tad worried about bed spread on the rear half with that much weight on the bed rack..but time will tell that tale.

Does the tent move yet too??

 

Oh and you might wanna try flipping the tent so it opens on the passenger side. Just an idea. that way you can still use the lift to get into the truck if you want with the tent open. it'll just bend on the break. Works on mine anyways.

unless im backwards with how it is and it lifts up on the passenger side..

although, you rack is pretty high, idk how much you'll use the lift unless getting bigger stuff out.

 

but the REAL question is..

When's the fancy dual swingout rear bumper coming to match this?

So, got a chance to scope out drr's truck yesterday. A very nice setup overall.

 

Tent moves a little. I'm holding off the bedliner until I can make more adjustsments and weld additional stuff on to it. Time will tell on the bed. Working on bolting it on at the moment. Going to put 2 bolts on each side and 2 on the front of the bed.

No plans on the gate yet. Planning on using one of my old scuba tanks to mount somewhere for air. Don't need fuel cans lol. Maybe a swing table on the back idk. All new to me so the more I do it I will build things to suit my needs like you guys have already.

 

I've talked with im plenty. But struggling to see his rig in my head..

Well then shit. Yea mount the CO2 somehow like mine. Then you'll need water cans. So using the LCE water cans would be cool. And a table is awesome. I miss that a lot from Frank.

Antenna mounts and light mounts would be something to consider on the rack to add. But im sure it just needs tweaks. Gonna be a sweet setup!! super unique.

 

Silver '02 XC, v6 with Magnessen SC and URD 7th and TRD headers. ARB locked front and rear. He is on 315/75r16 MTRs. AP plate with winch on the front and custom rear with swingout. Looks pretty good.

 

Nice! Sounds like a perfect rig. I know he had the tundra brakes too. that's how i know him as he did the T100 swap too.

 

There are a couple of things I was surprised by. One is he only regeared to 4.56s. I;m sure the SC makes up for this a little, but he is an auto running small 35s. Knowing what I know now, seems like 5.29s would have been better. Also, no adjustable COs or UCAs.

 

Listed the cruiser at $4000 . Aka, I don't want to sell it and hoping nobody bites.
