No kidding, it still blows my mind how much some of the LBZ's are still going for. It's an odd market though, you have to have to right buyer who knows what it is and is willing to pay the price for an older truck. Cause really for a similar price you can go get a truck thats a few years newer, with updated interiors, ect. LBZ's are the bees knees if you know what you're looking at though. I had some kid on Sheridan Upcycle shitting on my post cause he thought my price was outrageous- those are the people that have no clue.

 

They'll probably offer a new faux beadlock wheel and throw in a leveling kit and call it good

Power is fun, but not super useful on its own. The hellcats can't even put their power down well, so yah kinda lame for the cash. The engine on its own is cool and would be awesome in something else. Take a ride in one if you don't believe me though, the parlor trick gets old quick.

 

We can talk specs all day, but I'm a fan of the vehicle you build yourself. These vehicles are more for the leave it alone guy that wants his friends to have a visual reminder of his dick size. They're cool but at the end of the day you spent a lot of money on one thing. Sorta like meeting a childhood hero and being disappointed. You're right though I like my truck, and I generally don't go for flashy sport vehicles of any kind.
