Got the BP-51s and Ricochet skids on the FJ the other day, so I thought I'd run it up Roger's Canyon and do a shake down on some wash board. Stopped by the caves on the way back to take a few shots with my crappy prehistoric phone.

We buy quite a bit from them for the shop. Way friendly and very good customer service. Inventory is pretty good too as they have more cars than then are vehicles registered in Buffalo.

Haha! Way better than the cheap Rough Country that I put on it 7 years ago! I'm going to load it down this weekend and go hit some trails, bring it back in Monday and recheck the alignment. Tacoma will be next if I like them on this.

Well they cost a small fortune, but I figured since my 15 y.o. kid has been being a butthead lately anyway, he wouldn't miss part of his college tuition.

LOL, I though Old Man Emu was a big name brand since they've been around since 1975. I've never had any experience with King, ICON, or any others except Bilstien and ToyTec. I was really attracted to their R&D and the fact that ARB products have always been good to me and never left me stranded, so I decided to give it a go. Doing my own R&D of sorts, and I do install suspensions for customers as well, so I'll be plenty opinionated if I have a problem. Oh, with the FJC group buy, they were about $500 off of MSRP, so the timing was key also.

eh. I guess they are. But for my gen of tacoma they offer nothing that compares to something like a King/Fox/ADS/Icon. Nothing is rebuildable or custom valving or even resi's.

They are basically dual bypass coilovers. Pretty cool really. So price makes sense. Bypasses are never cheap.

I'll take my 8.4 too. I'll just curse my open diffs for a bit longer until I get gears and ARB's.

ARB claims they're fully rebuildable though. Probably take an act of God to get them back Down Under for that repair!

Yeah a little too rich for my blood. I'll be happy as long as all the tires spin when I want them to.
