thoughts. cutting the eye off the shock so i can remove the shock and then have more fun ways to get the bolt out

 

what? Im guessing this is the rears? i was thinking fronts..

lower strut bolt.

i want to cut it and make it go away. no pressure at all on the shock any more.. could probably even fit my sawzall in there after and cut both sides of the bolt inside the tabs too afterwards.

 

I am not saying he isn't. Not even sure who he is. Assuming you did 5 hours of work a day for the photos. That's $13 an hour to equal $200 over the 3 days. I am guessing the prices are low in an attempt to get more customers. Factor in gas, food, etc. Ouch. I guess its still $200 off his trip to the mountains and it would work if you had another job and just loved to go wheeling.

Let the PB soak, get a real breaker bar on it and add an extension tube to it. Leverage is king man.

Also, cattle branding day in Dubois was awesome. Fulfilling my cowboy fantasy one step at a time. One of the girls got some pictures so I'm stoked to get those sent to me.

yes tried with it unbolted and bolted from the top bracket. testing tension on the bolt

 

How big of a ranch? How many steers?

That's good enough to get things packed up on it. I'll install d rings on it to strap everything down nice and tight. I have some left over wood that I may use to make a second platform over some of my military boxes. I also have a long skinny box to fill in the gap under the platform.
