The 5.2 is a funny engine, very sensitive to little stuff but when it's off it's game it keeps running. Not like a Chrysler at all haha. If you're having idle issues and occasional pinging it is likely the intake plenum lower pan gasket, blows out because it is a dissimilar metal and then the engine aspirates too much of its own oily PCV gasses. Wonder why plugs weren't done often, they're ultra easy to reach on it.
