Momma is doing well. Pics like this make me second guess switching to a sony mirrorless. The 6D with good glass is creamy.

I think you'll miss full frame more then the fact it'll be mirrorless. If anything you'll end up with a a7s haha

Nah he has L glass on the 6d. 24-105 I believe.

 

Got the leaf pack back together. Added a leaf from my dad's old oem pack. Hopefully helps a bit with load capacity.

Rotated the tires too.

Gonna pack tomorrow hopefully.

 

Yep I've got 24-105 "L"uxury on the 6D. It's an awesome setup but I dislike lugging it around unless it's a truck trip. I want to bring the camera with this fall for my elk tags but no way in hell is the 6D going with just no room for it. And now that there are options that have proven themselves like the a6 series for the same amount I can get out of the 6d it's why I'm looking to switch. It's all what happens behind the lens anyways right

Just thought it was interesting, there is even a section on their website for getting in touch to organize group buys.

 

Looks like the older versions of cvts. Not current ones.

Cheap though. Same price that cvt used to be.

I like the look of the new company iKamper. It's a hardshell but folds out to double the size like a soft side one. Cool idea. Very pricey.

 

I noticed they have a rental/try before you buy on their site. Kinda thinking of "trying" one for Imnaha. Literally invites you to take it on a trip... seems risky on their part but probably leads to more sales than losses. http://adventuresolert.com/rentals/

 

Bobby did the same thing practically. Gave em away and other things. Still does. Add that with great customer service and you'll grow a good customer base.

Ya they were super comparable to the tepui. They are on my list along with the tepui. The REI deal makes the tepui cost the same but the Adventure one is local so if I have an issue I can go there

 

If i went hard shell it would be with the iKamper. Cool design and just as big. But also still not cheap.

Yeah smaller poles then now. Cool though.

 

Do it! Looks like their "S" footprint is the same as what Ben has. Their "M" model is what I have.

 

I can't see spending that much on those hard shell types. But some of them have very cool designs.

No doubt. Very pricy. Hell I can't believe how much my summit one costs..

It would look terrible if you had a swingout. Have seen them like that on ExpoP. Otherwise yes. Not a good match.

 

Did you not look at mine? Zipper is nice. Tarp just fits way better which helps a lot.

Put some bees wax on it to lubricate it

 

Yeah I had to fix Frank's. Was easy but annoying. Igors tents zipper is much nicer. About due for some wax.

 

Been finishing prepping the truck. Devin will be home soon gonna take the Camaro out top down. It is a hoot to drive top down. Sounds so good. Weather is great here today.

My zipper pulled apart almost. So it wouldn't work.
