    Borrowed a friend's a6500 with the 18-105 lens. Comparison photos coming tonight! He even had an adapter to run my canon glass on the Sony! All I can say is damn will I miss the analog feel of the DSLR...

    Went up the mountain and broke some trail today. Slowly getting further and further every weekend haha.

    The first snowy spot we hit there was a bunch of muddy tracks going off the road and around it...Such a shame. When we pulled up there was 2 Forest Service agents writing up tickets for a guy and his son on ATV's. We chatted with the FS guys for a while and they were totally fine with us breaking the trail. So they sat back and watched up chip away at it til we broke through. Pics inbound tonight.

    Straight up F in the A Sony and Lightroom. WTF is an ARW RAW file and why the fuck do i need LR6 to use it. There is nothing in this world that I hate more than incompatible files. I'm not buying LR6 to do this comparison and it may be the dealbreaker for me on switching to a sony... so dumb. Monthly subscription software is DUMB.

    Sorry dudes but I literally cant see the pictures i took today with the sony...

    ARW files are simply RAW files, I haven't shot anything other than the Sony so I'm not much help cause that's all I've known.

    I agree with Adobe's monthly subscription thing being stupid. I guess on the upside it constantly stays up to date with the newest versions ect.. I pay a little extra each month and have full 100% access to all Adobe programs, from LR to After Effects.

    I'm honestly not even sure if you can just buy an Adobe program outright anymore.
