Nope, I have the 4 man ready to go. Probably will just sleep in the truck on the platform. Shower at the local gym, and Ash will have to hang out in the kennel while I work.

That's how Laramie worked. Drove 13 hours through the night, registered for school, and found a place to live all within 24hrs. By far the most stressful move but it was rather relaxing since I was finished with the military bs .

Just scheduled to view one place the Saturday we arrive. No garage but I'll make it work. I am sure I can make friends with someone that will let me use some shop space. That's one good thing about small towns.

I drove 19 1/2 hours to st Louis with no place to live. Haha thank god the lady liked me to stay in her basement. Idk wtf I'd have done if that had fallen through.

What happened with the place with the garage?

No joke. Not sure if there is a lot of housing there but that would be nuts. Luckily I have plenty of public land to fall back on. Not sure what I would do if I was in a big city.

That place said in the ad that they would allow dogs and then told me that absolutely no pets are allowed. Probably a nutty landlord anyways. I don't want to deal with that.

Yep. This place has a big concrete slab so I can perform Oil changes and do basic things through the nicer months.

Reminds me of when we moved to Vegas. Took 4 days off to come look at houses in July. Applied for one, left, and didn't find out that we got the house until 2 weeks before we moved. Figured worse case scenario I have a RTT and plenty of BLM land haha

Yeah, I was suppose to go sign a lease over spring break and had a few houses lined up then but they decided to tell me my job may get axed...so I waited. And a few weeks back they decided to let me know it's all good and I need to figure shit out .

It will all work out in the end. I may just end up spending more than I want.

I took a trip down to hole in the wall country this past weekend. Was hoping to fish the middle fork of the powder river. No luck. I hiked down to the water, but it was raging pretty good. I "fished" for about 10 minutes haha. I did get turned around a couple times, but in the process gave my truck that official "tacoma paint job".

I liked it so much that I went down again on Sunday with my wife. We did manage to win a free 6 pack from the Invasion Bar by playing shake a day.

Also...a buddy and I floated a canoe from ranchester to acme last night. We did have a pretty good time, and it took us about 3.5 hours to paddle the 16 miles. If this sounds like something you want to do, please be careful. We capsized 3 times during the course of the float. Luckily we had such a warm breeze blowing last night we were not too miserable.

One of the best parts of my new tent for sure. Glad they decided to sell them individually
