So I think I have decided on the winch I want.

Smittybilt GEN 2 XRC Winch | 9500 Pound Load Capacity | Syntethic rope

Here is the link to it. Is 9500 lbs enough? I have plenty of knowledge on how to use blocks to multiply the pull strength of lines and stuff like that.

 

Happily leaving Boise this morning . It's alright for a big city but not my thing. Back to my quiet town up north. @m3bassman I'll let you know if I end up down here outside of work. They kept us pretty busy and hosted a BBQ for everyone who came.

 

It's a big city . If there is traffic everywhere you go, it's big. Over 100,000 is considered a big city.

 

Pshh thats just in my neighborhood.

 

It is not like an on/off switch. Lol.

There are degrees.

Starting with at town with a post office and a stop sign,
progressing to a town where there is a main street with a business and district and possibly a stop light or two,
to a town with several stop lights and a couple of main streets and business districts,
then on to bigger, like does it have a high school?

Boise of course is bigger than those but it is by no measure a 'big' city. At best, it could be called a medium size as your description of 100,000 population would also apply.

 

I'd consider Boise a big city. I consider Billings MT a big city. I consider Denver a Sh*tstorm of F*ckery.

Only bad traffic around here is the ripe outdoor folk who shower once a month and have nut butter oozing out of their short shorts.

If you didn't hear there was a mountain lion spotted in Laramie and the city decided to send out alerts. Well that caused the whole town to flock to each sighting. 9th and Harney was a mess near the park because the police were closing down some of the roads then again at midnight. I did see a tacoma with a light bar on the roof and pods near the windshield get pulled over for having them on while driving looking for "the lion".

 

Probably from that same jabroni that said 93 million people are killed in the US every day from gun violence....

 

Our country should tax more so we can enforce stricter gun laws and make this a safe place for everyone....who's with me? Anyone?...Bueler?
