    1100 miles later----

    Alvord Desert was hot. Not a lot to do at the actual desert.
    Steens - A+, wish the spots with great views had spots for camping.
    Fields Milkshakes... eh.
    Hole in the ground was cool, tried to do a hill climb but the 5" of dust and steep approach just led to burying myself.
    Fort rock was good
    Christmas Valley... I think my truck has more tires than the folks have teeth
    Mckay Falls made for a nice campsite.
    Mann Lake was gross
    Delintment Lake had a ton of wildlife

    Wanted to hit Pillars of Rome but we wanted to get back to water, and trees after being in the desert for a few hours.

    There is a bit more too it. You mmust download (free) maps/tiles of the area you will be in. A bit tedious even with a very fast internet connection. Also must have enough storage on the device.

    Made an emergency trip to Konstas that day. Cut the bar, welded it back together, and reinforced it with a other bar tied across the frame. I'm not going to bother redesigning it until I want to buy a whole new set of leafs where I'll need radically different suspension travel
