I love it. The control is crazy. Even on ice, ,can really grip alot harder.

I have given up on alot of pop and flex and spin. my body just doesn't seem to take the abuse as good anymore lol

 

ya but an e brake isn't as responsive or precise as this is.

 

sure i guess.

buy a 42k car and install one to show me haha

Don't give up too soon. Talk with the rancher about winter storm frequency, amounts of snow, county plowing and anything else he might want to share. He can probably tell you more than you want to know. If the road is impassable what is your employers policy (how lenient, how often, etc.).

I live in SE WY; snow, wind, ice and road closure capital of WY. Commuted 50 mi (one way) for 2yrs and 30 mi (one way) for 9yrs . Worst weather, most often a tailwind and lots of blowing snow billowing over the windshield and an unplowed road (I80 is the priority). It's different now, roads closed more often (for accident prevention and many more ignorant truck drivers).

Use sun glasses for better contrast those conditions situations caused by heavy or blowing snow; polarized, yellow, dark yellow or neutral lenses seemed to work best. Get a good set (all wheels) of chains and get good at putting them on/off. A tarp and coveralls are helpful as is a long handled shovel that has a straight front edge and the scoop is mostly in line with the handle. Of course your blanket /sleeping bag/water and food.

Most important is to be safe and to recognize your limitations as well as your equipment. Always be safe and err on the side caution.

It worked for me, but for sure there were some tense moments, but never any accidents and no excursions in & out of the ditch. I always hoped that people were smarter than me and stayed home - not in my 'lane' headed toward me. I was driving a '92 Toyota reg cab, 4 cyl 22RE, 4X4.

 

Starting to get the runaround on my rear bumper from allpoo...... Ordered Aug 29th with original build date of oct 11th...then oct 27th.....now needing 2 more weeks.....

I've lived in Northwest wyoming. This is nothing new for me.

But I don't want to drive 80 miles a day on a not super safe highway in the best conditions.

This place was always temporary anyways. We both want to live closer to columbus. Just couldn't find anything worth it.

Do you ever have a good vendor experience? Lol

 

Not sure if I have terrible luck or the vendors on here are garbage........
In no particular order.....
Allpoo.... False and continuing lead times
Pelfreyblt.... Bent bumper and lost in transit over a month
Totall chaos.... Wrong rate coil
Head light guy..... Bad seal on headlight and burnt out halo
Skygearr-fuse and relay holder and he went mia for months eventually banned from tacoworld
I feel like I am missing more.

 

LED shield thing is one i know you had problems with too.

Time for a new skid plate for me.

I agree. When he made the 2nd gen ones i asked if he was planning on 1st gens and he said yes..
