    I realize im not a radio buff like you and your dad, and will not be installing a retractable radio antenna in my backyard...so yes it is classic Chinese shit.

    Joe knows a fair bit about the radios, and if his club in Canada is running 8+ of these on trail runs and back country guides I know use them than that's good enough for me.

    I will grab a license but the closest is cody or sheridan...im not driving all that way to take a 35 question test so i can use a 5-7 mile range handheld on long ski tours. I need one closer
