Trail gear too would be fast. But never been a huge fan of that under bite thing.

Im friends with Eric...but not that good of friends. Only Jason could swing that haha

I actually own a tube bender ;) had a notcher..but was a HF special POS so didn't last lol

Badlands still has a pretty decent build time though right?

Damn Frank's bumper comes with baggage haha. Too bad about the grille, just remembered that was custom one.

Damn, that sucks! I do like my Relentless - and if you want to DIY, you might ask Eric if he'd send you a kit - you never know; weren't you looking at getting one of the new first gen Pelfry's? Could you drive around a while with nothing until those are ready?

Accepted, I suggested it because if anyone could put a bevel and weld a bead around some tubes it would be Monte. Not near as tough or design laiden as building a whole new bumper. Pretty sure that's what @drr was doing when I first met him, had just gotten an aftermarket tube for his All Pro. It looked damn good too. But yeah buying one with them on there is much easier, most any of the builders out there will do it too unless their bumper is too low profile.

@Blackdawg you would definitely want to call Badland before ordering. Jeff and his son had told each other to f off and his son left the state for a while. Just one dude doing the bumpers now and he had some work piled on him for sure. We talked about it when I picked my bumper up.

ended up not liking the front pelfry. Too bloated looking. Holding out for a rear though..

I ask Eric. Can't hurt to ask.

damn. That sounds like a shitty situation.

I just emailed both Eric and Brittony as well. I don't have nearly your sway, but I've referred several folks since I got mine and did my write-up on here, so can't hurt...

Yeah and unless they brought on some of their other inspectors/certifiers (that's their main job, armor is a side thing to keep the guys busy in between certification jobs) then it is just the one guy. Jeff told me he doesn't fab anymore. Shitty situation for sure I hope they make up

Doesn't put any more pressure on you to mail him (sorry if it feels that way); I also mentioned that I didn't know if you'd go that route if it was available, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask and figure out options.

Well I appreciate it no matter what :)

Im on very good terms with him. But can't see him swinging a DIY option for me. Im too high profile for that, ironically, and it would cause a stir i think.

But..if i can get even a fully built bumper maybe faster..who knows.

Sorry to hear about the deer.

IMMO, the short termm/quick fix is to run your elite on igor. Al least until you can build one or find a plate bumper you like. I do not think you will be happy with the badland or any tube for that matter.

You held it up with Eibachs at one point right? Are the kings a low spring rate?

    probably.

Well not really. I would NEVER hold it against him in any way. He doesn't owe me a damn thing. So most likely would tell me to get in line like everyone else.

yeah. Up until they didn't hold it haha

they are slightly lower. 600lb vs 620 of the eibachs.

BUT i also don't have a second battery or skids and could pull out the winch.
