I think if you got a DIY, it'd be hush-hush. The idea would be to just have a Relentless on the truck, which would be a win for him.

 

I've read that the eibachs are 620 lb coil but I've never run them so hard to compare. IIRC, Monte is running 600# on his Kings.

They are 620s. Also i think longer.

Just took them off grants 4runner. Frank barely had lift near the end of their life on him.

i used too. I think is was heavier to begin with by design...more plate up front, not a slim. But then i reinforced it some. But i can't imagine it would add much.

If i pulled the winch id be fine im sure.

 

I know the bumper new was 115lbs. I bet its closer to 125 now with new tweaks. Add the winch and its about the same as yours.

It would make sense to do it for now i guess...Not stoked to take it off..but could redo the winch wiring once i put it back on frank.

After the last trip rear winch seems like a higher priority

I actually weighed the bumper I got from Tim after sending it off for powder coating. 110#

Speaking of fab projects...I’m day dreaming and planning out the initial stages of my next project once the rest of the regular maintenance is done.
We got our last room maste in, which keeps my rent just over 500 with utilities...so I still have disposable income to save back up!

Bummer its so rare for him to make 1st gen stuff. I'll have to ask about getting one, I really like it tucked nice and high no extra garbage and winch isn't as low as all the other bumpers.

 

I like that none of you guys said for monte to just go back to stock front end on igor and drive a little slower? i mean that is also an option before he has two franks in not too long.

 

Isn't that implied, haha you don't go to an AA meeting to hear yeah just go home and drink this'll sort itself out. Just like you don't go to TW for advice on how to make your truck more stock haha. But yeah I bet that's the cheapest option, sounds like he's had a few close calls and a less than short commute as of late.
