Kind of. I still have to do the rear. Just waiting for a buddy to be available so we can draw up the trailing arms on Solidworks. Then cut and weld.

Nice, I liked the slow roll about half way through. Almost had it through the whole roll. Running over top of the water that close was sweet too, looked like you could of banked a little to just kiss it if you had wanted.

Nope. Still running stock rear end. Right when I was about to pull the trigger on leaf springs. Dylan convinced me to do links. He said to not waist my time and do it once and just do links. The cage I had was built for sua and bypasses over the axle. But I never got to tying in the parts. Right now everything is getting chopped off and I’m designing a whole new cage for fuel cell and link setup.

Glad I didn't dunk it! Would have been hilarious if a fish jumped and took me out.

I would guess another side of it is maintenance. Steel cable can (not should) be neglected a lot more than synthetic rope can be. Not saying it is safe, but dragging steel cable over all kinds of crap and winding it up without keeping it clean isn't going to be quite as bad as it would be with synthetic. My synthetic rope on my warn is pretty temperamental and likes to be babied. It works just fine though as long as it is cared for.

Anyone in Cheyenne available to help a broke airman out? Since I live on base I don't have access to a welder or grinder and would like to do a CMC on my truck before I install my lift and tires. Seems pretty basic process of cut, grind, weld , grind, paint I just don't want to drive to Arizona to use my welder and don't feel like spending a couple hundred for what seems like an easy task. Any help would be appreciated!

Oh the joys of being in the military lol

@Dagostino480 I'm guessing you've checked, but the base Auto Craft Shop doesn't have what you need? They're usually pretty well equipped. All the ones that I've used have had tools well beyond my capabilities.

Ask the staff when you go in. A lot of times the more "interesting" tools are hidden away since they don't get as much use as the oil change and tire tools. Good luck!

Got an alignment today. Tire shop is right next to my place in columbus. Pricey though.

I have not been doing a good job doing rotations either. My spare was not new, i had rotated it from the original 4 that were on the ground. WOW there was a big difference in tire depth.
