    unless you got something different than the 500 or 500ffs.

    Do you really think the retro fit hellas with the 55w HIDs will be substantially better than the HIDs i posted? I do have to go through the moderate amount of work to drill the back of the hella housing and mount the HIDs

    the pro comps look a bit more durable too...And if I wanted to could I just put in a 55w bulb in the pro comp ones I posted when/if they go out and make them brighter?

    edit: looks like its all about the ballast (im learning) so if I wanted brighter lights, gotta get the 55w kit you posted

    Idk if you could get the ballast to work on the pro comp lights if you tried that.

    Think mine were the 500ff

    Brighter? Idk. I do think that the procomps will be a better spot because the reflector bowl is deeper so it'll make a more focused spot vs the hellas which will have a better spread.

    Couldn't say which would be better though. Hellas will be a lot small(thinner)

    better spread, sounds nice, and they are still long range enough they will go weeellllll beyond the head lights ya?
    also, seems like a way easier conversion than i thought

    my led sun headlights are quite nice thanks

    Yes mine still had a very good spot. Goes damn far. I still have 2 mounted on Frank. Still the brightest lights on him.

    700s are about 8'' big. never ran them. I fit 4 hella 500s on the front of early Frank though.

    Well ya fuckin sold me. Easily the biggest improvement were the 500s. cheap, easy, bright AF. looking at other posts 6k seems too blue, so i think id opt for 5500.

    next round of buying starts in 4 weeks, after i pay rent and finish round 2 of maintenance

    and like clockwork...every couple of years i totally remove and redo all the wiring in my truck as i add enough stuff that just shoving more wire in doesen't work anymore. So when i start this next wave of fun mods, imma pull out all the wiring, get new switches, employ some relays, and make everything cleaner

    Get a bussman if you can swing it. Super clean install that way.

    i already have that blue sea fuse box/100a breaker I made a while back. Going to obviously run everything off that. While I like your method of only running ground into the cab, i want my switches to all light up, im still going to run power through the cab, and probably just run a relay for the hellas. but i got a while to figure that all out

    and if you get switches that light up. Do NOT get blue. For the love of god. Too damn bright. Just go for red/orange.

    luckily some of the switches i want only come in red...just realized that my ARB ones are blue...guess we will have a theme of red for lights and blue for lockers haha

    My Ditch light switch is blue..fucker is way to bright. I want to swap it out and will after I add some spots to the new bumper. Plus Then I can finally do my high beam interceptor mod.
