I'm not here to justify my purchase, I'm just happy to see something that perfectly suits my needs.

Is that what Brett is getting. That is pretty cool. Light weight and easy.

Excited to see it. Not for me and for that price at this point it would be towards a supercharger for me instead lol.

Moved here last May to work as a fish biologist. I should be made permanent around May and if that happens I'll hang at this job for a minimum 3 years, probably 5.

 I am WAY out of the loop then haha. Well congrats to you!

As a side note I thought that place sounded familiar. I have definitely been there. I worked for a company called S&K environmental some years ago and we spent a summer doing a reclamation project for the state on the Red River rebuilding the shoreline as it had flooded, washed away, and continued to erode. We stayed in some cabins that an outfitter had available between Elk City and Red River Hot Springs. We didn't even have electricity - Everything was powered by propane.

We got to go to the Hot Springs a couple of times and if you somehow haven't been yet you should certainly go! Also, there is a diner in Elk City that has a burger & fries challenge. It's like 6lbs of burger and 6lbs of fries or some nonsense like that... It's free if you are able to complete it in 45 minutes. I never completed the challenge for a free meal, but I did house it all down both times within an hour. No ragrets.

    HAHA Hiya Ben!

I have been following your life via insta so I kinda know your story, and am happy to see all of the things that you have going!

I appreciate the updates. If Josh still lives in Sheridan we definitely have to get together sometime. His work is incredible. I more or less just want to witness what goes through people's heads who possess that kind of creativity.

I work in Elk city for the majority of my summer. Currently working on picking rivers/creeks in Elk City to focus eDNA efforts on. We stop in there for patty melts and burgers. Small world. Beautiful area but man is it scarred from human activities.

    Sick dent
You really do flatter me haha

I was looking at the OP the other day and laughed at how different everybody's rigs are now. Except for mine, just big tars, a dent, and snorkel for expo points.

Think it's time for an update
