Awesome! Are you still in school? Is that what you are doing in green river? If so, with who?

Very cool. I tried to get a position with G&F every year and never got an offer (still a bit bitter about that haha). I ended up working with FWS with the Wyoming Toad two summers and then some how landed a pathways position (internship) with the BLM in Idaho. You need to come out here if you want to work with fish. Washington, Oregon, and Idaho have some pretty awesome fish programs with tons of jobs.

Yeah I know! The Idaho Fish and Postings look pretty sweet. Too bad most of the started or ended at the wrong time. I’m pretty happy with the employment duration Wyoming offered me for just a tech position.

They have great summer jobs with good experience if you can get them. Once you graduate you should be able to find some longer term positions. If you are interested in working out here keep an eye on tribal jobs. The nez perce tribe has all the cool restoration and population monitoring positions. They fly in helicopters for redd surveys for us. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you decide you want to come out this way after graduating and have any questions.

I’ve been wanting to move up to northwest! I’ve been thinking once my contract ends abiuting trying to get a winter season gig. More work = more truck and motorcycle goodies.

Yeah, it's a R100, which is just their base model. Got it used off a local member.

This made me think back to the most insane thing I ever saw on the 101 in my days of commuting from Deer Valley to Chandler. Random weekday afternoon everyone doing 75-90 bumper to bumper and some dude on a sport bike in the center lane hopped off to the side of his bike at about 80 mph with those steel soled shoes on, slides along for a quarter mile facing forwards, then pirouette’s and goes about a quarter mile backwards, then does his best can can up and over the bike and lands on the other side and slides for aways then hops up on the bike backwards, pulled it up into a wheelie and proceeded to split lanes till he was out of sight in a wheelie whilst riding backwards. I wonder if he’s still alive.

Not gonna lie that sounds fucking badass, he lives on in legend. Haha, I just like riding a goon bike for the spongy comfort, I don't have any gymnastic ability so I can't ever hope to do any of that.

It's all that pent up rage from bean counting all day. Comes home, throws in rage against the machine album and starts releasing the frustration. "Can't balance this account with a general journal entry??, I'll show them!" :D

Got in a small accident in my truck, so looks like the build might start a little sooner than expected. What's sad is the rear bumper i planned on getting would have completely saved my truck from any damage. Here's the carnage...
