yeah how it is for us. well sorta. Snows then people drive on it(people can actually drive on snow here for the most part) and then the plows run. So there is always a layer of packed down snow that thats turned to a nice layer of ice. But due to the mine traffic here it usually only last 2-3 days on the main highway. the other highway i take does clear up for a long time. And often when it snows doesn't get plowed till the afternoon and the county road i take some times doesn't get plowed for days.

I will say i've really enjoyed driving with the ATM tires. Of course they are the most siped tire i've ever driven on..so they seem to do great in the snow and ice. Every tire has its limits but i usually have to make it loose traction with them. Nice tires. I don't think id ever run them on a rig but for a daily truck in the area im in, they are perfect. Should last a long time and are quiet on the road. No complaints.

You guys and your snow, making me jealous. It's 60 and clear today here. Cold for everyone but I'm enjoying it with my windows down. Got my shocks back too, they had to replace shafts, lower heims, all seals, and they even cleaned them

I was in Scottsdale for about 40 minutes yesterday and thought it was glorious, especially since it was 6* at home at the time. There is a road I have my eye on, that I went part ways up once in a rental Chevy Malibu that I believe goes from Scottsdale to Payson through the Tonto national forest. If I recall you’re in chandler now, could you find out some specifive?

I think I know what you're talking about. There are a few all dirt paths to ghost towns and such but I've heard of one that goes to Payson and another that goes up some mountain. I'm still pretty new but if you give me a starting point I can probably figure it out

You go like you’re going to Bartlett lake, past desert mountain. It eventually turns to dirt and you see signs that say:entering the Tonto national forest, somewhere along the way I believe I saw a sign that said: payson 80 miles; or something like that. I came to a shallow creek crossing and didn’t trust the rental car to make it so I turned back, I’ve tried to trace it from the air, but that tends to be a busier time in the approach arrival phase, I’ve always wanted to go back and try and navigate it by land though.

@m3bassman, when you did your SPC UCA’s did you use the supplied UBJ’s, or OEM?

you can't use oem with the SPC. They are literally flipped on the SPC vs OEM. You have to install an adapter into the spindle to run the SPC.

Some people have had dificulty getting the old BJ outa the spindles. I found it a lot easier to remove the entire spindle from the truck and on the bench, press out the old and press in the new. One of the more challenging jobs I've come across.
