Well an accessory to my rear bumper that I ordered in August of 2017 just showed up.

I sure hope SmugMug doesn't fuck with it too much, Yeah, there are a couple of things that have been a bit neglected but overall, Flickr has been an outstanding "free" service.

Acquisitions can be awkward. Look at what happened with PhotoBucket. At one time it was pretty good too.

This statement is a bit troubling in that in the long run the service as I use it now will probably go away.

Is anyone here paying for a Pro account with Flickr right now?

AGM types are way more durable by design. They hold up well to all the vibrations and bouncing around we do. Plus, they can tolerate discharge cycles better whether those are from winching or just running lights and such when the truck isn't running. Because they generally last longer, they are worth the extra $$.

 

Think ben and Dan are pro. I'm not though. Sure hope it's not gonna change that much.

I'm in the same boat as you Mike - it seems pretty good right now (though I still prefer OneDrive ). I sure hope it stays good and free.

I'm not on Pro, the only thing in Pro that might be nice is a more robust uploader. But free seems pretty dang nice.

 

So next weekend Im reinstalling my add-a-leaf, drivers side hub, and doing the spark plugs. I have all the instructions for each thing and the proper torques for each nut but had one question. The spark plugs I got say not to use anti seize. That seems weird to me. I ordered the Bosch Double Iridium plugs.

 

I have yet to use anti seize on any of mine when I change the plugs. Use the OEM Denso's though. Haven't had an issue with removal yet

 

Yeah I've never used anti seize either.

Went for a 7 mile hike into the wilderness today. Was super nice out

Mike how did you mount your tranny cooler? Brackets or the zip tie deals?

I did not use the ties that came in the kit that are supposed to go through the radiator. I've read that long term they can cause damage. Instead, I used a standard zip tie to connect one corner of the cooler to the center support structure, right below the hood latch. Then a small bracket to the lower opposite corner. I have some pics somewhere, let me see if I can dig them up.

 

Ok, so it looks like I had to move one of the horns that was on the left side over to the right side too. And the mounting is sort of like I described above.
