    Yep. Freelance gig.

Great actually. Was glad I out the 500 miles on before the big trip. But so far everything is super smooth. Cross winds a killing me in Kansas getting like 13 mpg.

Pretty much all of this haha

I need to setup an llc with myself so I can at least write off the mileage. Would ha e been about 1400 bucks or more I could have wrote off. Oh well. That'll happen this summer to help fund business purchases later.

Not doing much camping just worked out that way this time as my family in Denver was gone. We are going to try to make it to the bad lands national park in SD on the way back but might not get that far towing a 5x8 trailer..

dude get that LLC set up ASAP.

I figured you already had it. You can write off all the maintenance parts for the truck as well. Just keep it logged as a work truck. Hell the purchases of new trucks can even be done that way.

I'm not sure I use igor enough for work to actually qualify for a work vehicle. Though I actually don't know how that's works

If I remeber right the amount doesn't matter. Keep a log book of miles for it, parts, gas, etc. Even if its small it still counts. The offroad parts would be an iffy. New shocks and stuff you could probably get away with. A S/C ehhhh. If the amount is small overall I highly doubt they would question it. And hell if its for a trialer you could justify a S/C I bet.

    No doubt.

That's good to know. I could do that. Wish I could do it for this trip haha and all the shit I just did. Oh well.

Haha no doubt. I had issues but fixed pretty fast. I'm just glad I didn't owe like I thought I was going to. Didn't get much back but I count that as a win in my book

The autocraft platinum that car quest sells Looks to be the same exact battery as that one. Same price, and I can pick it up free in the store. So I think I’ll go with that one. And 15% off. Nice

You can write off marketing things also so like if your in an auto business you can write off bumpers and shit. When I was looking at making my heated seats business and using it to buy tools and truck parts it was very easy but you have to show that you made money at least every couple years. If not you get hella audited. Same with people up here that own a farm, but really only have one cow and a few chickens.

I just watched this couples relationship disintegrate in the Punta Cana intl airport over a misplaced boarding pass and a broken pen. The girl has been bitching and stomping around the place making such a scene while the dude just sat there. Jesus Christ people

I have to replace this entire bulkhead due to water damage

It’s a tedious job, but luckily I don’t need to fiberglass it in, unlike some boats.
And the through hull bolts for the swing keel would literally let buckets of water seep in throughout a day on the water, they’re such a gross mess now but once I reseal them, this bitch is gonna fly!

I’m going the spend the next month and a half working on this boat (and truck and motorcycle) that you spend on frank, Monte, when you were home from school lol. Late nights every night!

    Yes! Haha

And no not that....yet. just going to do alot of mods that have piled up like gussets and welding. Hopefully do the rear end rebuild with new shocks and stuff and upgrade the interior.

V8 will wait a bit. Probably 4 link before that and wait for an 8" furlong clamshell adapter to come out.

Also. This gig is insane. Licoln jazz orchestra is insane. Going to be a killer recording.

Yeah me too! Really needed my help. Old boss can't fund an assistant to save his life.

56 microphones on stage...haha that was my job. Wiring and placement. He tweaked as needed.

30+ on on ground stands so my job is baby sitting all those so they don't get moved by stage hands or musicians. Quite the setup. Easy for me now but first few days where long hours of running around.

Striking everything isn't gonna be fun though haha

So Im up in OKC for some work. Was driving home from our shop and saw a shop with some land cruisers out front so I stopped to poke my head in. Was "Cruiser Corps", basically a Toyota/Lexus cruiser specialty shop. The owner was a nice guy and walked me through his whole shop. He had easily 40+ different FJs from 40s to 100 series in various conditions. Was super cool. Definately had me on the FJ train.

I'm glad to be home. Spent the last four days in Denver. I like going to Colorado every so often, makes me appreciate Wyoming more.
