I bought my stmaxx like 3.5 ago. I thought I saw them for 220 a few weeks ago. I paid like 175 a tire originally

gotcha. I think my first set was like 190 a tire or so. Still a grand for tires. Such is life.

315 mm divided by 25.4 mm to the inch sounds like 12.4" wide to me.

    yeah i know.

But as we all know tire manufactures tape measure's are all fucked up.

Every 315 i've ever seen next to my 35x12.5s is narrower but a good amount. It's also why every photo of someone tubing for 315s is a tall and skinny hole vs a gapping canyon of a hole for those with 35x12.5s.

    You don't want 35s anyways..because you'd have to regear again :p

Yes, I know all the tires are different and what a tire manufacturer claims is only sort of related to what you're actually getting.

    I just want a 285 width with a 35" height.

If that existed, it would be even easier to tub than a 315, and lighter, therefore I don't think regearing would be necessary.

I understand the metric tires sizes, but it would be more helpful if tire manfuacturers did too. Lots of this shit is undersized which is just annoying to account for.

I think I'll start keeping a tally of the number of times you two agree on anything.

It'll be easy - I'll just count the number of posts, and those will be the disagreements.

    hahahahaha, :luvya: :luvya:

It's one of the world's great constants, you could calibrate your dick measuring micrometer by it.

    Oh, I know.

Right now, Monte's probably trying to find a way to disagree with Ben's last... but he's like, "how can I disagree with 'idiot'? Must. Find. A. Way."

I love it though. They have a peanut gallery for it too. But after meeting ben in person and realizing he will give you the shirt off his back vs how I saw him on here before that made me like him even more haha. Haven’t met Monte but despite there arguments ben speaks highly of him in person.

That's right I hadn't met you yet, i had gone wheeling with Ben already though, but the first time I met him and Mike was at an Arby's in Ellensburg and I had no idea who anyone was.

Hahahahahahahaha, it's not creepy until Mike admits that he ran a background check... Lol

Edit: though in that case, it turned out to be a good idea.
