I don't think I could go back to the quiet of stock if it came to this.

I won't lie, I like how quiet Igor is most the time. Frank can be super loud...only don't like that though on the highway.

And that tail pipe looks pretty low hanging :boink:

Just got home from the Big Horns. Was so nice. Had the whole place to ourselves. Camped at Moran Creek again, let the dogs have their hay day at the creek. Slept in in the nice shade and good cool breeze. Was a great break from the high 80 low 90 degree tempts its getting here.

Took some photos but not much will post soon.

@Digiratus and @Blackdawg the silence of stock is pretty nice for every day driving. And it's not super quiet. It's a walker quiet flow ss. Nice muffler if I'm honest. I noticed a bit of butt Dyno loss but it just might be because I don't hear it lol. My milage has improved a bit so low end torque probably increased.

Been craving some go fast dirt lately and as some of you may have guessed I have moved back to WI. (Keeping a 1 year old 18 hours of driving away from family is just not ideal) There are trails here believe it or not and I look forward to checking them out. Although the views are less striking we'll see what the trails are like. A built yota feels so out of place here. I've had multiple questions already... People here have no idea what real wheeling is.

Also fuck rust. I got used to not seeing it and now that I've been driving around for a few weeks every other car is rusted out  not looking forward to prepping the big cheese for the bullshit winter here

Got to camp a bit on the late side though still was light when we first got there. Devin prepped the Hobo meals and I stoked the fire up for coals to cook on.

[IMG]Beartooth Pass 2018-2.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Then, we had a nice windy night. Not annoyying, but some strong gusts that woke us up. Occasinally the dogs making noise too as they were running free all night. But the morning was great, nothing like sleeping in in the shade with a nice cool breeze in the quiet mountains. But we got out of bed eventually.

[IMG]Beartooth Pass 2018-5.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Then we decided to walk up the stream to see if we could cross it on foot to climb the rocky hill on the left.

The water was high though and it became apparent that wasn't going to happen but we kept walking letting the dogs entertain us. Satchmo was very funny going after the fish constantly jumping full on into the creek.

Im sure one of the very powerful wind storms that are know to blow through the Big Horns laid down all these trees at once.

Saw plenty of big game too. Lots of deer.

[IMG]Beartooth Pass 2018-18.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

On the way in, had hit a big mud hole...almost didn't make it. Big Horn mud is good mud though, comes right off.

[IMG]Beartooth Pass 2018-19.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

We were gonna hike up a peak, but the dogs were half dead and Devin wasn't feeling 100% so we headed down. Devin spotted something in the trees though..

    Pretty cool.

Stopped at Shell Falls on the way down as the river was raging.

Then ate lunch and headed back to powell to drop the dogs off and hang with my mom.

Final treat was just outside of town on the way home almost hit a bull Elk and his heard in almost the same spot we saw the 3 bears last week.

was a nice quick over nighter overall.

Back to work tomorrow....good think I work in the mountains pretty much :p

I think it will be. We haven't had any record snowfall this year that would prevent it from being open. I'll ask around and let you know

Possibly. I talked to them last week, and it sounded like there was no question it would be done this week. Waiting on an update on that, and how far out the White Glove delivery would be.

Once I get that info, I'll make a quick decision and let you know.

Also FWIW, I was thinking about heading to Shoshone 7/14 or so myself.

Nice! Wanna run it with me maybe?

Cool lemme know! Already figuring out what to do this weekend. June is my last month of normal weekends for a while where I can do stuff with Devin easily.

After June 30th, I work Wednsday-Saturday for sure a some times sunday and monday. Alas I likely won't be able to meet you in Shoshone at that time. about 6 hours away for me and Id leave on sunday morning to get down there.

Been way too long since I've run it. need to get a skid plate on Igor again though. Frank wont' be ready by then.
