Looks like it fits even better than the second gens I saw it one. Id consider one if I was thinking of staying with a Tacoma long term

 

At least 6 months. That's what they're quoting, so wouldn't surprise me if it's longer than that.

I have this half-ass, half-width platform I built several years ago I'm going to use for now.



I think it should make it pretty easy to get into the tent portion. As I use it I'm sure I'll figure out a better way to keep everything organized and get into the tent.

Thanks bud! All is going well with a few small hiccups. @Digiratus and I had a fun camp fire session last night and I am sure tonight will be even better.

Are there any good campgrounds to look into near Lander? Will everything be packed 4th of July?

 

Probably most stuff will be packed. Sinks Canyon State park has a couple of campgrounds. Most of the lakes off of the Loop Road have FS campgrounds. There is dispersed camping allowed along the Loop Road as well, though that seems to fill up pretty fast. Camping in city park is free if you can find space.

 

According to aprs.fi I missed you by 2 hours. I came west on i90 through ellensburg about 2 hours after you turned south onto i82 towards yakima.

 

You will be able to find room somewhere up the loop road even if it's not an established campground I would think. If you have trouble finding a spot you can crash at my place if you need too.

 

I remember Wheeling with Marc other the 4th. Was amazingly quite quiet.

 

The whole world goes mute at Shoshone lake though. Didn't hear a single firework that year!

 

260 hours of work put into the boat since may. Didn’t even count the dollars, test sail went off without a hitch. No leaky keel bolts, no floppy keel, outboard worked like a charm, handled great all day, quietly came into the dock at the end of the day under sail alone. Thank god it’s mostly over
