The bolts/spacers that @turbodb shows are the ones we ship/install with our skids. I chose a bit different design style for the skid and have our IFS match up to the bottom of our bumper for a more smooth skid transition, but place out mounting bracket on the bumper in a similar location to stock for compatibility of most skids, hence the reason for the long bolts/spacers with our skid.
Whether or not you need them is probably based on the design of the plate you are mounting, if it has a vertical lip and bolts up tight to the factory front skid cross member then you should only need short/factory length bolts(like the ones we include with the bumper when shipped). We do up the bolt/nut size to an M10-1.25 from the factory M8-1.25 that are stock, hence our reason for including new bolts. The OE skid holes are large enough for an M10, and we prefer running the larger hardware there on the skid.

 

Awesome. Thanks for the info Eric. I'm trying to extract a bolt from the rear mount so not sure if it lines up. I like the bigger bolts though, nice touch. Hopefully have it mounted tomorrow

ha! No doubt. Still a kid though. I still spend way to much time dreaming up truck mods and audio gear purchases...

Can't say Im nearing that. Never owned a LG appliance and only have these by shear luck. Only criteria I needed to fulfill was stack-able, which these are either stack-able or side by side but came with the stacking kit. Just worked out with these. 320 bucks for both isn't expensive in my book haha

I'll probably never buy super nice appliances, cooktop is the only one I'd want really nice. I hate electric coil tops and induction tops, need to be gas.

 

I do this too, but my bank statements always straightens me back out haha. Just know that it doesn't matter to your friends.

 

If you have money in your pocket and food in your fridge, you're definitely not at the bottom.

It's crazy how many people just throw away broken appliances. They are easier than ever to fix, with youtube how-to videos and the ability to order any parts you want online.

 

yeah i looked at a video and it wasn't even the same model and was like...holy crap thats easy. And mine was even simpler to take apart than the one I saw. Was super easy. like 15 screws total maybe. Need to just move it in the house now and I need to wire the drier up for a 3 prong 220 instead of a 4.

 

Dan what did you do with the tow hook in the frame? My bolts wouldn't suck up to the hamper by a very large gap. Not the hook blocks my skid plate.

That and the front lip is too thick...gonna be a long day of grinding.

 

I had to use a band saw to cut off about 1/2" of that lip on my BBs.

 

yeah had to do the same on mine.

Doing the same here too. Though not near that much, maybe 3/16'' total. Of course I have like 1'' left and my cut off wheel is gone now haha have to wait till tomorrow. Fine with me. Don't like the bolts he sent, bit torqux head bolts. Rather have normal bolts.
